I am certain he is aware of where LH product sits compared to competitors, and wouldn't be surprised if he read this thread. Product decisions made years ago were probably carefully considered and thought to be the best at the time, but with hindsight I am sure some would be changed. Thats life!
Agree! ^

......portable devices junkies are accustomed to bring spare batteries along and usually don't encounter such problems.

Perhaps Mayrhuber should do the same?
Perhaps you might be surprised if I told you Mayrhuber does it as well!

Furthermore, the fact that LH will provide in-seat power in Y on the B748i just goes to show that LH did not read the market demands correctly when they decided on the Y cabin (or the C cabin for that matter) on A380!

And the fact that people stare at the live-cams might have something to do with the fact that your IFE programming is so poor - I don't understand why LH did not go for the same level of programming as do EK / SQ etc. ???
First of all LH provides power outlets in C and F class and still majority of people choose to rest on long-haul flights rather then playing with their gadgets.

Secondly, it is not my IFE, and asking why LH didn't go for the same level of content as of EK and SQ is the same like asking why EK does not provide pension benefits to its employees or does not allow unions.....When you dare to discuss airline matters ( and you probably think that your frequent travelling make you an expert in airline business) try at least to think once outside of typical frequent traveller's box. LH operates under different and much harder circumstances then EK and SQ and LH cost base is much higher to begin with.
After all ,why doesn't SQ shuttle their First pax from lounge to aircraft?!?

175 aircraft:

A321 43

NEK retrofit will take exactly one year from 12/2010-12/2011

what is good ol'Lufthansa?!?....and LH schedule ex-SIN has been quite steady for years now, even improved by addition of MUC flight, so it should be still or even more convinient for you.

I somewhat agree to this, but fail to see what your problem with Mayrhuber is?!?
Weber was an excellent CEO, but Mayrhuber brought LH to absoultlely new heights and LH never invested in products as much as under Mayrhuber.

such as.....?!? when you say something like that try to refer to my posts.
My job is closely associated with airline products on-board product developents, and as such i do fly quite extensivly on different carriers and have inside knowledge from very good colleagues /friends working at airlines such as EK's, SQ's.........so my posts are not purely based on some corporate brainwash, but from both my personal experience and information exchange from "my people" inside those airlines.
