May be email back to Jason, charging shipping fees when you are not shipping should be changed to processing fees. If they are charging 4.95 as shipping only for this promotion they better portray it as processing fees, otherwise I would still term them as a sleazy business. A honest business will term it as an extra cost they are trying to recover for crediting miles.

It is my guess that they could not easily add a new product item (i.e. Processing Fee) to their order entry system. Or maybe they didn't want to add a new 'product code' that will be only used one time, etc.

These DM members did NOT purchased items that could receive US miles. TrackItBack could have easily told these DM members to pound sand, no miles, etc but instead TrackItBack gave them the miles for $ 4.95. I think that is fair not sleazy. However, it is not sleazy to purchase something that doesn't qualify for miles in order to save $ 5.04 ($ 19.99 - $ 14.95)?

Don't get me wrong...I support the DM members who have issues with Vinesse Wine Clubs and Teleflora because their websites should NOT allow the ability to enter a coupon IF someone has entered a DM number. Also, they should have disclosed upfront (the first day of the promotion not changing their terms during the middle of the promotion in the case of Vinesse) that coupons can't be used if the DM member wants miles.
