Haven't posted to this thread in ages, but thought this one was noteworthy:

Just refined Y award ticket to 25k roundtrip:
JFK-SEA nonstop Sunday before Thanksgiving
SEA-JFK nonstop Wednesday before Thanksgiving

I'm particularly pleased to have found low inventory on one of the busiest travel days of the year.


For my wife, I've got a 60k Y award (she'll survive) to Europe with stopover in NY as follows:
SEA-DTW-EWR Friday before Thanksgiving
JFK-FRA nonstop Sunday after Thanksgiving
FRA-AMS-SEA a few weeks later


These are good considering the holiday timing.

By the way, I just got my parents 2 J seats on AF A380 for March, CDG-JFK. Low valuation at 100k per ticket. I haven't seen the A380 available much for low awards.
