AS newsletters are notoriously vague with this sort of thing. It would be a huge change for AS to implement early boarding for all partner airlines when, in practice, "partner airlines" has meant NW only. AS is partnered with NW, AA, CO, BA, CX, HA, LA, KL, Qantas and a few regional carriers. However, all but the NW partnership are limited to mileage earning/redeeming and codesharing. AS and NW provide reciprocal elite benefits such as upgrades and early boarding. AS and AA have not in the past, and I haven't seen anything to indicate that the situation has changed.</font>
The third group announcement specifically includes AS MVPs along with elite members from partner airlines. It's new with the TANGO started Feb 15.
