Is it just for me or is this a general problem today? Will OLCI be any better? Flight is tomorrow and is wide open.

Sometimes seat selection just doesn't work properly *usually due to the way BAEC data is captured as part of the booking), or because you are trying to select a seat that you aren't allowed to (e.g. a Gold trying to select a 2nd seat in row 1 in F for a companion).

Generally when the problem is unexpected, I find that calling BAEC and being politely insistent on having the issue resolved, addresses the issue.
