I have as far as I can remember, called UA owned/leased metal, "mainline" and all express carriers "express". When referencing carriers that are not wholly either UA/UAX, I will add the word "United" in front of them to be more specific, just as for AA, I call their operated planes "mainline", and their express "eagle" which includes both AA eagle, as well as "executive airlines".
