Had a captain the other day who used the phrase "United Mainline" in place of "United Airlines" in the course of his normal announcements. Any one else heard this... is it intended to be a dig at CO or Express?
Also of course the steering on the "United Mainline" aircraft went out after landing and we had a 30 minute wait to be towed accross the airport to the gate. Later noticed that the soon to be unhappy group of passengers scheduled for the next flight of that particular aircraft were treated to a four hour delay.
Could go either way, but I'm guessing it's about UAX. I don't think CO flights, even ones with "United" over the "Continental" say anything about being a UA flight.
