transfer MR points

I think their are a lot of people in this situation. I wrote to Lucky about this just tonight.
I collect most of my miles on the ground. I have accumulated about 180,000 MR points. Mainly with the Amex Premier rewards gold card.( personal/business) I have a time bomb ticking, because I would prefer not to pay the annual fee.Therefor a transfer. Their are some unique choices this year.
1.move them to BA and get 30% bonus. However, when I try to use them on a partner for Business or First the mileage requirement is high because of the how BA calculates. Even worse when I use two partner awards. ( Am I correct?)
2.move them to Delta for a 50% bonus. ( That doesn't seem like a good idea)
3.I have always had a hard time accumulating a large amount of UA miles. Got some with cc, but never wanted to push Chase too hard. I couldn't move Spg or MR to UA. So for the first time I can get points to UA via the CO/UA merger.( next year)
4. I could get the AC credit card and start with 25,000 miles and move the MR points.
5. I could stop being so cheap and pay the annual fee, and keep the points for their flexibility?
I would love to hear your comments, may even be a topic for your blog?

Thanks Jim
