Wow, nice thread. Lots of good information here and I also found many of these questions truly amusing. 'How do FA's secretly react to my exalted status, or my shiny luggage tags, or my knowledge of airport codes?' LOL! My personal opinion of most Western FA's is that they simply get the job done. On my bad flights it's almost always other pax who have annoyed me, and not the FA's. I sincerely hope some of the more snobbish whiners have bothered to read how the meals are divided and will quit with all the conspiracy theories. Personally, I think that eating on a plane is about a tacky as eating in a car or munching at the movies. I strongly prefer to eat at a real restaurant before and/or after the flight. Even on a long-haul flight I'd rather have my own food to eat instead.
Anyway, my two questions are...
Is it still okay to bring our own alcohol onboard as long as a FA serves it?
Have you ever flown any major Asian airlines, and if so what did you think of the service and appearance of the crew?
