I'm probably one of the few who will defect from UA to US if "enhancements" and/or E+ goes along. The lack of US TPAC routes hurts (which means I'll probably still be on UA or possibly ANA for those routes), but given how things are going, US looks a lot more attractive. No trial platinum program - there is a Silver trial but you have to fly 22,500 in 90 days to hit platinum. I'm pretty sure Plat is the highest you can achieve via the preferred trial (at least this was the case with the free SP trial; maybe it's different for the paid trial).
