I will finish my scheduled business and vacation trips this year on Dec. 27, being 19,148 miles short of 1K. Is it worth trying to fly that much Dec. 28-31? And if so, what would you recommend I do and how much would it likely cost? I am based in Chicago. I am lifetime Platinum on American (having reached 2 million miles from all sources). I wish United counted miles other than actual flight miles for that kind of status! Thanks for any advice, Judy
