On the United forum yesterday and today - people are up in arms about the proposed changes to Mileage Plus due to the integration with Continental's program. They are talking about possibly jumping ship to American Airlines.

All well and good and I don't really care. The vocabulary lesson, however, makes me thankful to be with US Airways. EVIP, CR1, SWU, UDU at various fare levels and EQM's and EQS's is sheer insanity.

I love out automatic notifications (whether we consistently get the e-mail or not) and the ability to put myself on the standby list when I check-in. No stickers, no visiting the site everyday etc.

SO - Thank You US Airways for making me enjoy my life outside of my time on a plane and allowing me to not worry about all of that nonsense.

(but since I'll be hitting 100 segements AND 150,000 miles tomorrow, I think a trial separation is in order ;-)
