Interesting... as if we needed a point reason to avoid Motel 6... 8D. Seriously, I had no idea that Accor had such a different biz model than other hotel groups.

All that said, I would recommend to the OP to focus on IHG. See the IHG forum here for how to earn massive amounts of points, and to spend them cheaply on Pointbreaks.
