Unlikely unless your 'not much' is still above the minimum criteria at InterContinental AND the total amount of stay at IHG hotels (IC, HI, HIX, Indigo, CP, etc) is sufficient for requalification.
Okay - that's where the confusion is I guess.
My account info says :
Membership Level: Platinum Ambassador Member
So that means I'm not RA. Which is fine.
And on the Ambassador website:
AMBASSADOR
Ambassador Status: Platinum Ambassador
Expiration Date: Apr 2011
PRIORITY CLUB REWARDS
Priority Club Level: Platinum Member Benefits
Priority Club Points Balance: xxxxxx points.
You have maintained Platinum Status for the next year.
So the Ambassador status can expire.. unless I buy the membership again - as I did so starting with Gold.
