I saw that there is a promotion of 75% bonus miles for mileage transfered (from another DL account) and was wondering if I should 'ditch' out 300 bucks + 30 dollars (service fee) to gain 22.5K extra miles in my account (transfer 30K miles from another family member's account into mine).

Looking at several (actually many) posts and threads that says 'uselessness' of DL miles these days... I am not sure if it's worth 330 USD to gain 22.5K miles... (it's about 1.5 cents per mile).

It's certainly better than nada and definitely better than 25% bonus that they had earlier. Given that that DL ran 100% bonus for transferred miles... I am not sure if they will have such promotion once again.

What would you do if you were in my shoes?
