Hmm, good idea, especially since I might be forced into this. Eurostar puts a London-Brussels-Paris-London itinerary at around 300 dollars. I wonder if I can instead book a rewards ticket and then pay AA $250 to let me change the date so that I can do this all through airports and no trains... AA is making this difficult

In all fairness. If your goal was to go visit both Paris and Brussels, so the overall difference would not be $300. Additionally, there are a lot of discounts offered on these trains, especially for a student. Whatever you do, do NOT book European train travel through Rail Europe. Additionally there are discount carriers. As noted by another poster, do NOT limit your searches to just AA.
