I called Magazines for Miles today and they told me that they have a limited number of subscriptions for certain magazines and when they meet that number they don't issue anymore subscriptions.
I am short 1 hit so I will not get the extra 6,000 miles for 12 hits.
Anyone figure out a way to back date a hit?
What about Dividend Miles? Are they sympathetic if I have some documentation that I did in fact order the Magazines?
By the way my backup hit was a Priority Club stay but since I registered for the Sweet Dilemma promo I didn't earn any points or miles for the stay!
It is my recommendation that you write to DMF Partner Marketing,
[email protected], to complain about Magazines for Miles.
We got our hits with Magazines for Miles but I think that they are not a good company. My issues with Magazines for Miles are:
1. They list magazines on their website WITHOUT disclosing that they may not be available; they have limited subscriptions, etc. They should only list magazines on their website that they have available subscriptions.
2. When a person submit their request for a magazine, the subject title of the e-mail 'confirmation' is "Your selections are being processed!" which makes one to believe that your magazine subscription. When you submit your request, your selection should be automatically accepted or declined.
3. There have been a few posts from FT members that stated that they placed orders in September and they received a follow-up e-mail stating that their magazine selections were NOT available. My wife and son didn't receive anything (they submitted their orders in early October) that their magazines selections were not available. They should send out an e-mail within 7 days stating that your request isn't available.
4. They won't cancel your order even if the magazine isn't available. They will re-submit your request(s) for the magazine subscription(s) that you initially wanted. There have been some DM members that have experienced that.
