Since many airlines are starting to wise up and target specific offers to specific elite groups, I was wondering if AA has anything like this started on AA.com?

I searched through AA.com and could not find any elite specific web offer pages. UA started doing this a few months back with an exclusive web site only to their 1K members. This site is filled with exclusive offers only for them (1Ks) and no one else. Great idea I thought.

And just the other day I came across three specific web pages for US Airways elites. They are not websites, however they are accessible for everyone to see. But then this raises another concern, "Should everyone be privy to see each others offers?"

I kind of like how UA has it as a separate entity from UA.com. The site is password and MP # protected. And I believe they have only done this for their 1Ks and no one else.

So, does anyone else have this feature or know of it as being in the works? Are they specific web sites or offer pages? What are your thoughts on who should have access to these offers? Lastly, is this a good idea for airlines to be doing?
