Actually there are three versions of the G&M: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
They sell different ads for the different editions, and stuff gets cut if there's less advertising. I think Toronto usually has 12pp, Ontario 8pp, and Canada 4pp. Of course it's the feature article that runs, and the columns and syndicated stuff (from Knight-Ridder and the like) that gets cut.
Douglas MacArthur often doesn't make the Ontario edition here in Ottawa (printed in Montreal, I think).
They don't bother updating the Table of Contents.
