3 is fine in the main cities (Dublin, Cork, Limerick & Galway) but gets a bit weak IMO in the West and North West.
If you're staying in Dublin 3 is as good as the others.
I may take a day trip or two to other areas, definitely to the Cliffs of Moher out west but mostly in Dublin. I think 3 will be fine. Thank you so much!!
