Working in the industry, I get very cross when companies are allowed to get away with blatantly misleading advertising such as this latest BA campaign.
It gives the impression that on every BA flight you will be served something equivalent to a delicious tomato and mozzarella roll with drink, whereas on the lowcos all you can get hold of is a crappy biscuit.
It neglects to mention that the vast majority of BA domestic and european services (90%?) the only food available is crappy biscuits! You aren't even able to buy a sandwich!
I really do hope someone takes them to the ASA because it might force them to either improve the food on board; or, get hold of an advertising agency with some brains and that's willing to put a bit more effort in than yet another tired variation of the "Full service good, low cost bad" effort that has failed to work for BA every time they've tried it.
