So far the sentences have all been factual but not necessarily all information.</font>
Omitting facts crucial to the conclusion is a falsehood by itself.

American offers a YUP fare matching HP which may or may not be available. But that does not negate the above fact.</font>
Oddly enough, the equivalent fare on American West is YAUPNH, also a YUP fare and the full fare on America West, F6, is the same as American Airlines, F26. The difference may be inventory and if the article was fair, inventory would be an argument, but of course there is no mention of inventory. It only leaves the reader with the impression that there is only the full fare on American Airlines to fly first class. This is false.

Now look at the point of the story "Real routes, real fares, real decisions". The non-majors have arrived at a situation where they offer a "real" alternative to the big-6 on real routes.

What do you need to show for the above conclusion?

The above is your conclusion. It isn't the conclusion of the article. The conclusion isn't the title either. The title is the title. The conclusion is contained the following paragraph which was you omitted:

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">My Verdict: American's seats are slightly larger and offer in-flight power points, both nice perks for the long-haul flights. American's in-flight victuals are more bountiful, if not better. And, if you're a member, you've got access to American's Admirals Clubs at both ends of the route. American AAdvantage is better than the America West Flight Fund, but the latter program is surprisingly good. Besides, if you fly America West, you'll be plenty comfortable on its Airbus. And with the fare savings of more than $1,200, you can buy a couple of back-up laptop batteries, a nice hamper of food and wine--and still have enough cash left over to buy another America West first-class roundtrip between Boston and Los Angeles.</font>
The conclusion is that one should fly America West instead of American Airlines to save $1,200 (enough for another ticket) and that one will be only slightly more comfortable with American Airlines only after spending far more. This is based on omissions which makes it false.

Your mileage may vary in the way you interpret this article but to compare this viewpoint to NE sensationalism is not doing justice to a viewpoint that is indeed a valid one.</font>
Your viewpoint may be a valid one, but it isn't the same as the articles.
