Hi all,

Here's a new twist from one of my regular hangouts in Atlanta. On checking in today, I was informed that the lounge would be closed ALL of next week due to the holidays.

So I asked about coupons, and was told no. So I invoked the guarantee, and was told that they are allowed to close the lounge for the holiday season without needing to provide coupons.

I've asked the front desk agent to check on this, as that is a very slippery slope. Next thing you know, they will close from Thanksgiving all the way through Christmas. I do intend to pursue it, as I don't think it's right at all.

Being closed on the holiday itself, yes, I can understand that. Being closed the whole week is not acceptable.

Will keep you all posted on any resolution.
