If you call the standard reservations desk you might not get credit, but if you call web services you should still receive any applicable bonuses as long as the issue is a limitation of aa.com (which this appears to be).
BTW, anybody remember the CX infant fare error on Expedia that allowed sub-$200 adult RT coach fares from LAX to BKK. Lasted somewhere between 12 and 24 hours before it was fixed. Expedia and CX blamed each other, and it later came out that the issue was a simple data-entry error. TMK all tickets sold were honored, though I don't know who took most of the loss.
