Low cost flying
is finding yourself (if you are not careful) at a dreadful airport with no decent facilities, and being told you can't take your handbag AND a wheelie bag on board after queuing for 45 min for security and being told to check the wheelie bag in and being charged more than your airfare for it

High value flying
is finding yourself at Heathrow Terminal 5 and being able to save a bit of money by shopping there, along with half decent eateries from which to buy food (if you have the time) to make up for BA's deficient short-haul catering in ET and being able to take the takeaway food, handbag AND a wheelie bag on board
