He doesn't need his defenses down if some perp tells him that he's a security officer and needs to give him a pat-down 'just like they do every-time you go through the airport.' Kids do not need any kind of fondling to become normalized.
This was my thought as well as I travel with my toddler very shortly. I have thought if she was selected for enhanced pat down would allowing them to pat her arms, legs and tummy and then suggesting they can have peek inside her nappy work? That way I would be minimising the inappropriate contact. She is used to having her nappy checked. I doubt it. The plan is both of us will wearing leggings and if someone wants to give her enhanced pat down asking them to please clarify if they mean touching her privates. I want to hear them say it. I don't mind a normal pat down but I don't like the thoughts of an enhanced ones She will also probably have been wearing her nappy for a while as we go through immigration, customs and checking and rechecking bags.
