Shortly after LAN started serving SFO, I booked a SFO-LIM-LAX open-jaw (using AS miles). I did that because LIM-SFO wasn't showing as available. Every few weeks I've been calling to re-book that LIM-LAX section on LAN 2608, the LIM-SFO flight only to be told there is no availability.

Today I was told that SFO-LIM or LIM-SFO were no longer valid city pairs for award travel. Can anyone clarify what's up with SFO-LIM WRT AS award travel?
