There have long been "plans" (read:rumors) to build more runways/facilities over the turnpike, put the turnpike underground from 13-past the 14's, and expand Port Elizabeth/Newark down into S Elizabeth and Carteret.

I won't see it in my lifetime, and my children probably won't either
