Overall experience/any other comments
I think I found a new low in service in J class. I'm quite astonished. No pre-departure service other than hanging my jacket. First time ever not seeing hot towel service. When meal orders were taken the SD simply stared at me expecting me to be able to guess at what was being offered (remember, no menus). When I asked what meals they had he made me feel as though I was causing a great imposition. The SD, who was serving the J cabin throughout the flight, disappeared for most of the flight...and it wasn't behind the galley curtain. He went off to the Y cabin. Now I understand that this flight was full and that there was a bit of mild turbulence to start the flight, but w.t.f. buttercup? It was an E75 for crying out loud. Since the J class FA (the SD) was back in Y all the flight, drinks were not topped up. Throw in the front to back meal order taking which meant I didn't get my preferred meal on my 3rd straight flight and I'm slightly perturbed.

Granted, the pilot did announce the expectation of some "significant" turbulence on the flight and, as a result, kept the seatbelt sign on longer than normal. But the extra time with the seatbelt sign turned on amounted to 15min or less, so I don't see how it can be used as an excuse for skipping so much of the service.
