I agree that if a lounge is closed during a holiday that falls on M-F, then breakfast coupons should be given. Hotels aren't required to close their exec lounges during holidays; it's their choice to do so due to low occupancy. That being the case, then IMO brekkie certs are owed.

Which property is this? Also, given it's within 10 miles of HQ there are probably other hotels the OP could contact to see if they offer brekkie & switch the ressie to that.
