You may want to check with MR before you use rolling qualification as your strategy. It was never an official rule, the rules indicate calendar year only and rollover nights supposedly replaced the rolling qualification. It may still be done for new members - the posts were not clear - and so you may qualify if that's the case, as you have never been PM before. I'd check with Marriott, though. Once you've let the year go, you may be upset you didn't plan a meeting for a few extra nights and you cannot unring that bell.
