My family is planning a trip to Australia in June 2012. We have about 400,000 total skymiles in two separate accounts. I understand that it is possible to redeem 150,000 skymiles for a business class ticket. I am thinking of pushing all my mileage earning possibilities to Delta in the hopes of redeeming 600,000 miles for 4 business class tickets. Is this futile? What are the chances that V Australia via Delta would offer 4 business tickets for redemption on the same flight.
