I'm heading to Dublin in Dec and I have an Orange SIM from London that I use on trips there in my iPhone. I'll be in Dublin for 6 days so I'm wondering if it's better to buy a new local SIM when I arrive or just use my Orange SIM and roam. I'll likely not be calling around *too* much but I do text quite a bit and use data but 1GB in a week should be plenty since my hotel has free WiFi. I'm a little lost on UK cell phone roaming.

My friend is traveling with me and her work pays for her phone so she just uses it all the time, which can get expensive on my US AT&T plan. lol.
