Your example works against the point you are trying to make. Your mom, as an AA platinum, flies more than 99% of the people booking air tickets. Of course, she will pay attention to what type of aircraft she is flying on. Not only that, but I suspect people
ONLY think of planes in 3 categories: propeller, jet, and really big jets. Since most people fly domestic only, all they ever see is a "propeller" and a "jet"... so they don't care. Finally, if people actually cared about wide bodies we'd see them flying and WN would be broke.
