Compensation? Really? People ask for that? (Yes, I know they do.) Whilst leaving, I joked to the FA that it was the first time I had to catch projectiles. I guess my only concern is that other, more damaging items could have come down, which would have caused problems.

And really, my compensation was that our flight came in an hour early, and I've got an extra hour in the new SkyClub before I head for Sydney.
