Yeah I know I was fortunate to get first. I was as patient as could be about the whole situation. Asked nicely for first and when she handed me back our boarding passes she said something like "since you were so patient". I haven't flown Delta much recently and found everyone of the personnel very pleasant on both of our flights. It was a real treat to get upgraded to first since I had my 23 yo daughter with me.

Vuelos, (I don't know how to quote 2 people in the same post), I must have messed up in my post. We were supposed to fly into CLT but out of RDU for the return. Stringing the airport codes together like I did made it look like one flight with 4 legs didn't it?

BTW, I just turned lifetime Gold with AA. I've gone to the thread in this forum regarding matching status but haven't waded through all the pages to find out if this is possible with Delta. Would someone mind telling me if it is?
