Hi, Air New Zealand expert flyers!

I'm making my first trip to NZ in January next year and can't wait. I'm flying BA/Qantas down to NZ (need the tier points) but will be doing a few internal flights with Air New Zealand.

I have a question that some of you experts might be able to help me with. I'm flying from Hokitika to Queenstown and have booked a fare with Air NZ. However, the connection in Christchurch is only 20 minutes. Air NZ have sold me the fare and I'm told the minimum connection time is indeed 20 minutes, but I'm just a wee bit worried that it'll be difficult to make, especially as I'm catching the last flight to Queenstown on that day.

Can you give me your opinions on making a 20 minute connection in Christchurch airport? For info, the flights concerned are NZ2865 (1510-1545) and NZ5381 (1605-1710).

I could change my flight to an earlier one on that day but it would make for an early start that I'd rather avoid!

Any advice you can give would be gratefully received.
