Overall experience/any other comments
The departure of this flight was significantly delayed as the A333 that was scheduled to operate the flight developed a mechanical problem and didn't make it to the gate. AC took an A321 from a hangar and had to have it cleaned and catered. Some passengers had to be put on the 1800 flight.
Boarding was a bit prolonged as new boarding passes had to be given to everyone who was still on AC 115; the new passes were distributed for the most part by the GAs as ID was checked (some passengers got theirs in the lounge).
The GAs handled things quite well, and I think overall AC acted quite quickly to get the flight in the air. We arrived at YVR about 90 minutes behind schedule. The only significant disappointment was having to sit in 1C on a 321 rather than in a pod on the A333. I realize that the GAs just want to get everyone in a seat, but the bulkhead seats are really not very comfortable given the restricted legroom.
