Here are my question:

I paid extra for the DTW-CLT-RDU-DTW ticket to save time with driving. We ended up DTW-RDU-RDU-DTW. Delta offered $100 voucher for future travel due to the maintenance problem but nothing for the difference of routing. In the past, when we've had changes because of maintenance we've received vouchers for full ticket. Is the $100 voucher the norm? Just wondering. . .

Actually, unless you are a medallion, the F was a gift. You're also lucky you got anything as a voucher to be honest if you left the same day.
