Sydney transit questions QF

Hi, first trip to Sydney so newbie questions I know (apologies). Travelling to the world cup rugby Sept 2011.

Flying on SA codeshare but in QF metal. Landing at 13h55 from Johannesburg. I will then transit for a flight to AKL. What is a safe time to book my departing flight to NZ? Any airline recommendations? A decent connection time and a reasonable J fair would be great.

I would like to use a lounge for a shower upon arrival if time allows. Booked in First, but on the SA flight number, albeit a QF plane so will the F boarding card from JNB help, or will I need to rely on the J to AKL/Priority pass.

Lastly I read 744 is switching to 2 class in Q3 next year is this still on track and any chance JNB will be on A380 by then?

I know its almost a year to go, but being world cup time, booking early is no doubt key.

THANKS!
