i've always liked "Top of the Rock" better since you can get great shots of the ESB as well as the Statue of Liberty in the same shot if it's a clear day. also better views of Central Park, St. Patricks, Chrysler Bldg., IMHO. I've always had fewer crowds on TOTR."

One negative about both places, besides the expense (about $20 each) is that tripods are not allowed.
