Well, if you already bought your ticket on af.com, then it's certainly an AF coded flight, even though it might be a codeshare. Delta and SkyMiles have nothing to do with it. You can't upgrade with SkyMiles. You'd have more luck if you bought the ticket on the DL side of the codeshare (if it actually is one!).
