but yeah, beware of the BOS LH matron/hawks who wont let you use it without physical sponsorship. Though I havent tested the post-security lounge and GAs whether it'll work there (since physical sponsorship impossible post security).

Yes, that's what I've heard too. Unfortunately, my return home only has the KBP-FRA, then it's UA all the way home from FRA.

Hmm, I just got off the phone with United and they said because this is LH marketed, I can't use a UA SWU at all. False information?
One particular item to note is that when I try to get to the upgrade screen, a message states that this flight is not valid for upgrades. Is this because it's not on the day of the flight?
