Actually, I just did some quick calculations, and purcahsing 7000 BA Miles (£127), making my total 12500, it would cost me £184.90 for a PHL-GLA one way in WT, making a total of £311 all in, so that looks my best option, and I think I'll go with that.

Plus doing it that way always gives me the option of cancelling, and going J out and WT+ back, should a J seat open up on the outbound leg last minute.
