Last week, my flight from DFW-ABQ (last of the day) was delayed for a couple of hours. When I arrived at the airport, the flight was not listed on any of the monitors but when I went to the gate that the automated delay notification call told me the flight had moved to, it was boarding.
I didn't get an explanation but it happened to me too.
Identical situation a little while back for us at ORD. I was in the AC at the time, and it was just not on the screen. Asked the AAngel who told me it was still going, and had no explanation for why it wasn't displayed.
