MS Mileage Credit Saga and MP Email Address?

I am getting a bit frustrated trying to get some miles credited for 2 Egypt Air (MS) flights I took in September. Any suggestions? (I have no status so can’t use 1K line or anything). And on a related note, is the email address for the MP Service Center a new thing?

The reservation was made through CO via phone reservations as an e-ticket, but before travelling I changed the FF# to my UA Mileage Plus since they gave more miles on the class booked. The name on my reservation matched exactly with the name on my MP account. I confirmed everything ahead of flying by looking at the reservation on the MS web site and saw both my full name and my MP account # clear as day. When I flew, I noticed the boarding pass had a shortened/mashed together variation on my full name (seems like this happens in BPs so I didn’t think a lot about it). At check in I confirmed my MP# with the agents and it was even displayed on one of the 2 BPs. Even still no mileage credit after waiting the time stated on .bomb.

My first step was to try to request mileage credit using the online form on .bomb. Of course that form doesn’t even have enough space in the name field to enter my name the way it appears on my passport, MP account, etc. (First space Middle, then Last Name and none are very long). So I enter it as I see it on the BP and submit. A few weeks later I get a letter stating that there was no one on that flight with that name.

Next I try calling MP Service Center. I spoke to an agent there who said on her side she could submit the request to MS. She also said to mail BPs to the MP Service Center as a way to expedite things.

So next I mail copies of the BPs to the MP Service Center. Still waiting.

A few days later I get an email from the MP Service Center requesting copies of the BPs *and* a copy of the passenger receipt (first mention I have heard up to now of them needing the receipt). The mail came from a “do not reply” address but said I could respond via email, fax, or mail. To expedite things I try email. Is this new? I searched .bomb and FT and didn’t find mention on an email address for the MP Service Center, but on the communication they said it was [email protected]. Since replying I heard nothing back after several days. Has anyone else used this address before and had responses?

I am sure I am not alone in having issues with getting miles credited, but this seems like a lot more work than it needs to be when everything was set up properly ahead of time.
