It's been around quite a while. But all it does is give EXAMPLES of how you can use NORMAL milesage earning techniques of various kinds.
So it doesn't seem nearly as cool to me as:

which makes it possible for me to earn triple of the normal miles (with THAT airline) on all my hotel stays between mid-Feb and mid-Apr (thus 1500 miles per one-night stay at, say, a HGI), with no limit on the number of stays.
Now, how does AA manage to call theirs the same thing if NWA's has a Service Mark on their use of "Mileage Maximizer"?
