I know there is some discussion of RDU, but for those doing PIT I can recommend the four points. It is category 1 (2k SPG on weekends!), the staff was friendly, shuttle was reliable, and the hotel itself was more than adequate (although in the middle of nowhere).
I just got this on Priceline for my run and was given a tired room at the far end from the elevator where housekeeping had definitely, er, cut some corners (dried coffee in the coffee maker, stray hairs on the sheets...). Yeah, it was Priceline, but it's also representing the brand, especially when a guest presents their SPG number. Not what I expected of even a lower-end Starwood property. (hotel was far from full)
For my final run this year I'll return to RDU--at least they have an AC.
