Kind of a related question... can the UA gate agents print a white checked baggage tag? I'm thinking I might have a need to bring a carryon through security and then check it to avoid having to get it back during a connection. I would feel better about having a system generated baggage label rather than a hand written one.
The other possible situation I have coming up is an RJ flight originating in YEG, and on the AC board they indicate that an originating US passenger can use the MLL as long as checked baggage is not involved by clearing domestic security first and then proceeding as a US bound transfer to preclearance.
