Only exactly 24 hours
The old days of midnight tomorrow night are long gone. I bought a ticket at 10 PM Tuesday, and called to cancel it at 11 PM Wednesday, NOT!
Occasionally I have booked another itin on the exact same flights 23 hours later, and cancelled the first itin, kept the duplicate, to extend my decision-making process. Actually did this several days in a row once, when outside factors were influencing my decision making.
